This policy describes how Obscurus Technologies ("Obscurus", "we") handles data in
the private, single-tenant business applications we operate on the
bremsethco.com domain (the "Service") for our engaged clients.
The Service does not process payments, does not collect data from the public, and does not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
Data is used solely to produce, verify, and deliver the engaged client's reports and to operate and support the Service. We do not sell data, share it for advertising, or use it to train machine-learning models.
The Service runs on Cloudflare infrastructure in the United States. Access is restricted to named, allow-listed users behind authenticated access controls. QuickBooks connection tokens are encrypted at rest. Operational alert messages are content-free: they carry error codes and run identifiers, never amounts or names.
The Service relies on these subprocessors: Cloudflare (hosting and storage, US), Intuit (the client's own QuickBooks Online data, retrieved with consent), Google (email delivery from the client's own workspace), and Anthropic (narrative summaries generated from computed report results; raw accounting exports are not sent to the model). Each processes data only as needed to provide the Service.
Report data is retained for the duration of the client engagement so that delivered reports remain reproducible. On termination, the client receives a full export of their data, and stored data is deleted within 60 days of termination unless the client directs otherwise in writing.
The client may disconnect the Service's QuickBooks Online access at any time from within QuickBooks, and may request export or deletion of stored data at any time by writing to the address below.
Material changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date and communicated to the engaged client directly.
